Linda Fadely is running to be Queen of United Way of Calvert County's Mardi Gras. For every dollar contributed to Linda's campaign, she gets a vote. All money raised will benefit the 36 local programs United Way supports.

Fadely plans to utilize her expertise in advertising to solicit donations for her campaign. She recently purchased an elaborate cookie jar entitle "Queen Margaret" and plans to carry it around, using it as the perfect conversation piece to collect donations.

Outside of the corporate world, Fadely has always had aspirations of living a philanthropic lifestyle. "I believe I have an obligation to pay it forward each and every day in each and every way that I can," Fadely says.

Linda plans to bring a lot to her title as Queen of United Way of Calvert County's Mardi Gras. Tackling the issues facing our community with several fundraising and awareness events planned, Fadely would be a positive influence on the community and United Way as a whole.
